Edwin de Ridder is head of logistics in the purchasing department. Together with his team, he ensures that all the purchased raw materials are delivered to the factories at exactly the right moment.

NewsDe Heus Inaugurates the First De Heus Animal Feed Factory in Ivory Coast
On January 19th, 2023, De Heus Animal Nutrition opened a new greenfield animal feed factory situated in the new industrial zone of PK 24 in Attinguié with an initial capacity of 120.000 MT pa. The factory produces complete feeds and concentrates to ensure farmers in Ivory coast and surrounding export destinations have access to a full product portfolio- tailored to their specific conditions and goals.

SustainabilityKoudijs Uganda takes initiative to recycle single use plastics
Single use plastics form one of the largest environmental challenges in Uganda. Which is why Koudijs Uganda has set up a program aimed at the collection and reusage of single use feed bags. The program incentivizes farmers to return used bags by giving them a discount on the purchase of animal feed. Koudijs expects to recycle a significant amount of used polypropylene bags as a result of this new initiative.
