Samantha Akello – Marketing Officer, Koudijs Uganda
Samantha Akello joined De Heus on 1st October 2024 as Marketing Officer for Koudijs Uganda. She is a skilled marketing and communications professional with a strong foundation in economics. She studied Economics at Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Professional and Digital Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. With an exceptional background in sustainability, clean energy, the food & beverage industry, and hospitality, Samantha has a deep understanding of influencing consumer behavior and creating meaningful connections.

De Heus opens Quality Laboratory in Rio Claro, Brazil
The multinational De Heus, an expert in animal nutrition, launched its Quality Laboratory last Monday, in Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil. This is only the first in a series of events that represent the growth of the company in Brazil - the other ones were in Toledo and Londrina, in Paraná. During the celebrations, Koen De Heus, Global CEO of the company and Ton van der Laan, member of the Royal Group De Heus Board were present, and they came especially from the Netherlands to welcome the press.

De Heus reaches the finals of the Dutch Family Company Award 2015
As you may know De Heus has been selected for the Family Company Award. A prestigious price for outstanding performing family companies. This award will be handed out by the Family Company Foundation, established in 2012 by John Fentener van Vlissingen. The ambition of this foundation is to support and strengthen the position of Dutch family companies, the cornerstone of the Dutch economy.

Royal De Heus strengthens its position in the east of the Netherlands by taking over Coops Mengvoeders
Royal De Heus and Coops Mengvoeders have reached an agreement on the acquisition of Coops Mengvoeders by De Heus subject to ACM’s approval. This is a major step for Coops Mengvoeders to further develop its regional growth activities. To De Heus, Coops is a key partner for reinforcing its regional position in the east of the country. With a turnover of 115,000 tons, Coops Mengvoeders has a leading position in the east of the Netherlands. The business activities will be continued under the name Coops Mengvoeders. The acquisition does not affect employment.

New dedicated production facility in for De Heus in Toledo, Brazil
The opening of the new De Heus factory in Parana shakes up agriculture business! The unit, located in Toledo, is a factory dedicated - in the Dutch mold - and which already produces the line of Feed Premium Romelko, novelty in Brazil The openning of the new dedicated factory of De Heus, in Toledo changed the agribusiness in Paraná and brought together entrepreneurs, producers, cooperatives and authorities of the region, such as the mayor of the city, Lucio de Machi; the secretary of economic development, Paulo Almeida; former mayor Beto Lunitti. Also attended the event: Koen De Heus, global CEO of the company; and Ton van der Laan, member of the Grupo Royal De Heus Board; who came from the Netherlands to this important event.
